Provenant

Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

These terms govern your use of Provenant (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. What the Service is

Provenant is infrastructure that records and proves the provenance and creative process of works tamper-proof, and provides rights and revenue features on top. It is not 'AI copyright registration' and does not grant copyright.

2. Accounts and wallets

A managed embedded wallet is created automatically at login. You are responsible for the accuracy and security of your account information.

3. Uploader responsibility

You warrant that content you upload and certify does not infringe third-party rights and is lawful. All responsibility for plagiarized, infringing or illegal content rests with the uploader.

4. Fees and credits

Certification is paid with credits, priced by factors such as file size. If sealing fails it is retried automatically and, where needed, the payment is refunded.

5. Notice on legal rights

Certificates issued by the Service are evidence of provenance, timestamp and process; ultimate legal rights are determined by the jurisdiction and the case. The Service guarantees no specific legal effect.

6. Prohibited conduct

Infringing others' rights, uploading illegal or harmful content, abusing the system, and fraudulent referrals such as self-referral are prohibited and may result in restricted access.

7. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided to the extent permitted by applicable law; responsibility for the legality and accuracy of user content rests with the relevant user.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may change with prior notice; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
