Provenant

Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Provenant values your privacy and processes personal data securely in accordance with applicable law.

1. Information we collect

We collect profile information such as email and nickname, metadata of uploaded works (title, category, hash, etc.), and payment and transaction history.

2. Embedded wallet and key security

The private key of the managed wallet created at login is kept distributed (MPC) and is never exposed in plaintext anywhere.

3. What public verification exposes

The public verification page shows only information needed to prove provenance — work title, owner display name, seal time and content fingerprint — and never sensitive data such as email.

4. Cookies and sessions

We use an HttpOnly cookie-based session to keep you signed in. Authentication tokens are not stored in browser localStorage.

5. How we use information

Collected information is used to provide the service, process certification and settlement, prevent abuse, support customers and meet legal obligations.

6. Retention and deletion

Information is kept for as long as needed to fulfill its purpose and, except where required by law, is deleted promptly thereafter.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or restriction of your personal data, and can export your data or delete your account from Settings.

8. Contact
